the open space to the wall and the sky and the field
give peace as all stands undisturbed

clinging at the edge edge
a puddle crashing down when shaken

the ocean lulls me to sleep

the shush of the crash under the crest of the rush
rolls under the blanket of the sea
cool air fixed on frayed edges opens outward
traveling the hard beams of light

reminds me of eliots work the calm humming whir of detail

so many glinting star falling under street lamps in the rain

the weather o9bscures our vision

the stairs are narrow and stepe

love the rhythm
and the simple hard images
